our firm. TGC has over 20 years experience in
developing and implementing transit plans for public
and private clients throughout Texas, Oklahoma,
Florida, California, and the U.S. We specialize in
creating innovative funding and financial strategies
and are highly focused on project implementation. We
actively support our clients in the pursuit federal
and state funds; we create strategies that maximize
the impact of local investments to the community;
and we create local consensus to elevate a project’s

TGC is seeking individuals wishing to pursue
a professional career in transit and community
planning. We are looking for:
1. Self-starters: TGC is a small, privately
owned firm. We highly value individuals who are
comfortable taking initiative.
2. Flexibility: TGC Associates need to be
adept at time and task management. You may need to
coordinate a diverse workload that could include:
drafting a report on environmental benefits of
transit improvements, analyzing demographic data to
better understand the transit market, or preparing
materials for a public meeting.
3. Good communicators: As an associate, you may be
expected to communicate directly with clients and/or
help to facilitate public meetings. TGC
highly values its working relationships with its
clients and community members and is seeking an
individual who can maintain and build upon those
relationships.
Preferred experience includes: familiarity with
community and regional planning processes and
principles; project management; GIS; familiarity
with federal and state transit funding programs;
community participation process/facilitation
experience, MS Office Suite.
