Design and Construction Oversight: TGC staff provides extensive design and construction administration support to our clients. Frequently small transit agencies do not have in-house personnel with the experience and time to dedicate to capital project implementation - often, the agency may be venturing into their first capital project. TGC will administer and supervise the design and construction phase of all types of capital improvement projects: transit terminals, parking garages, park-and-ride facilities, intermodal terminals, maintenance facilities, BRT/LRT, etc. With TGC on your team, you can be sure that your project meets all your FTA requirements and that the paperwork flows smoothly. (Projects: Galveston Downtown Terminal, Galveston Trolley, El Paso Suburban Terminals, El Paso Union Plaza)

Site Selection & Land Acquisition: TGC uses an effective, cost-efficient method to identify candidate sites for capital projects. Our method measures local conditions and client preferences along with the standard elements required of a good site. Site selection recommendations are communicated in a clear, concise manner. We manage the process in order to form a local consensus. Once a site has been chosen, FTA guidelines must be followed to purchase land with federal funds. TGC has assisted its clients in the land acquisition process. TGC staff has accreditation as land appraisers and years of experience in acquisition.

Community Participation: TGC has extensive experience in generating meaningful stakeholder and community input into the planning and implementation processes.  Seeking public input and participation is included in every TGC project. TGC typically manages stakeholder identification and communication, community meetings, project website development, and media relations for each project. Top employers, transit riders and other key stakeholder groups are frequently polled to gain their opinions concerning proposed changes.
