Barry Goodman is the founder and president of The Goodman Corporation. Barry has been inspired to plan and implement mobility projects when resources are scarce. Throughout his career, he has advised communities on how to strategically connect their financial, human, and social capital resources to achieve goals. Since 1980, Barry has been TGC’s key ingredient in securing over $1 billion of federal funding for our clients.
Mr. Goodman received his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California in 1970. Barry started his career at the Urban Mass Transportation Administration (now FTA) where he served as Senior Legal Counsel. From there, he left the FTA for Houston after he recruited to establish the new transit agency, Houston METRO.
Barry resides in Austin, Texas with his wife Susan. He is a musician, world traveler, and grandpa to five beautiful grandkids.
