David Bartels

David Bartels joined The Goodman Corporation in 2012 and is the Vice President of Federal Compliance. With over 25 years of project management experience, David manages various client projects and is our lead procurement and compliance specialist. David is currently providing oversight of over a dozen procurements for TGC clients. Prior to TGC, David was in progressively more responsible transportation positions with the City of Round Rock for 9 years. His responsibilities included managing procurement of demandresponse bus service, constructing an intermodal transit and parking facility, planning the express/reverse commute bus service, managing the DBE (liaison officer) and Title VI of Civil Rights Act of 1964 programs, managing grants, obtaining funding, updating a citywide transportation master plan, and managing arterial roadway projects with total budgets of $16 million. As an Industrial Engineer with the Department of the Army and Air Force, David was responsible for managing million dollar programs.
