The Goodman Corporation (TGC) was hired to complete a Benefit Cost Analysis for inclusion into a BUILD Grant for a new transit service center in Las Cruces, NM. The City of Las Cruces has been using the same facility since 1987, although the fleet has grown from under 10 buses to close to 50 vehicles. The city is at 90% design for the new transit facility and is applying for a BUILD grant for construction for the new facility. TGC completed the cost-benefit analysis portion of the grant application, looking at a variety of benefits, including maintenance, safety, and emissions. Given the deadline for the BUILD grant, the BCA had to be completed within one month of the project kick-off meeting. TGC also completed a Categorical Exclusion (CE) and Site Equity/Site Selection Analysis as additional analyses for the City to support the Transit Facility BUILD Grant.
