THE JOINT INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PLAN

HOUSTON SOUTHEAST MANAGEMENT DISTRICT THE OST/ALMEDA CORRIDORS REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

The Joint Infrastructure Development Plan, an integrated mobility implementation strategy, is the result of a collaborative effort between Houston Southeast and the OST/Almeda Corridors Redevelopment Authority. The Plan provides a prioritized list of 20 mobility projects or, a Program of Projects, that will enable both entities to quickly identify candidate projects for state and federal funding opportunities. Through the creation and implementation of this Plan, Houston Southeast and the Authority seek to remedy major challenges in the area. Project types include:

• General Mobility
• Economic Development
• Bicycle / Pedestrian Improvements
• Public Utilities (Water/Wastewater/Stormwater)
• Lighting

Projects identified are within either the boundaries of the Authority and Houston Southeast (or both) and are eligible for federal funding reimbursement via TxDOT and the Federal Transit Administration.
