John Carrara, Jr.

John Carrara is Senior Vice President of The Goodman Corporation with over 40 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of transit and mobility projects. Mr. Carrara mentors project managers in aspects of transportation planning, traffic engineering, issue-oriented research, attitudinal surveys, environmental analysis, cost analysis, capital project funding, facility design, value engineering, facility construction, and problem solving.
Mr. Carrara holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has completed general mobility and public transportation service plans for fixed route and commuter transit, rail trolley, and people mover projects across the southwest region. Mr. Carrara led the team that launched the historic Galveston Island Rail Trolley System. He recently completed the Galveston Downtown Transit Terminal, a transit and Port-Authority facility built in the Historic District of Galveston.
John is a Houston Rockets and Astros enthusiast, world explorer and photographer.
