Madeleine Hirsch, PE, is a Senior Associate at The Goodman Corporation (TGC). She is involved with both engineering and planning practices and brings both perspectives to projects, ensuring recommendations are implementable and context-sensitive and fits into the overall goals for the area. Madeleine specializes in traffic engineering and multimodal transportation planning, with an emphasis on pedestrian and bicycle planning. She has experience across multiple sectors within the transportation field, including consulting for private developments, working for a city on impact fees and planning, and contributing at the state level to the funding and inception of pedestrian and bicycle projects. Madeleine is passionate about helping people safely and comfortably live their lives without the need for a personal vehicle. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
