Chief Project Officer
Robert McHaney, AICP, CTP, is the Chief Project Officer for The Goodman Corporation. He supports the executive team to develop and achieve the TGC’s strategic goals and objectives, including management of staff resources to ensure projects are within the scope of work, and meet cost and schedule goals. Through collaborative teamwork, he ensures all projects help communities make wise mobility decisions with public dollars. Mr. McHaney also oversees the development of all comprehensive benefit analysis for our clients.
Mr. McHaney holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, Bachelor of Science in Geography and Land Studies and Master of Public Administration. He is one of about 100 American Planning Associations (APA) advanced Certified Transportation Planners and serves as one of seven Texas delegates to the APA Policy delegation. He also is the Texas representative for the APA Transportation Division and teaches American Certified preparation courses. Mr. McHaney seeks to think outside of the traditional planning framework by providing a comprehensive purpose and needs assessment and robust benefit analysis for mobility projects. He is an advocate for the transportation planning field and has presented several studies and projects at local, state and national conferences.
Robert enjoys volunteering in his community and spending time with his family.
