Sophie Rahman, EIT, is an Engineering Associate at The Goodman Corporation (TGC), specializing in drainage design and transportation engineering. She supports a variety of engineering and planning projects, with experience in ditch and culvert design, storm sewer and corridor modeling, and multidisciplinary coordination. She has contributed to major roadway projects for various local government clients, developing conceptual designs, preparing quantity takeoffs, and performing impactful engineering design assignments. She is passionate about drainage and corridor engineering and believes the two disciplines go hand in hand in developing efficient, resilient, and well-integrated transportation infrastructure that improves communities and enhances quality of life. She is an active member of WTS and is currently pursuing Professional Engineer licensure. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
